Your First Visit
Doing anything for the first time can be a little uncomfortable, especially if you don’t know what to expect. Visiting a Chiropractor is no different. To help you put your mind at ease we’ve provided some information about what you can expect when coming in as a New Patient at Lifestyle Chiropractic.
Checking in
When you arrive at your appointment you will check in with the front desk. If you haven’t completed our basic intake paperwork online, please arrive 15 minutes early so you can complete this paperwork in person using one of our intake iPads. You’ll be asked for contact information, a medical history, the reason for your visit, symptoms, goals, and your insurance policy information. If you have trouble completing the paperwork on your own due to injury or other limiting factor, a staff member will be able to assist you. We will also review the cost of your visit ahead of time, including what your insurance has estimated they will cover.
Seeing the Doctor
One of our chiropractic doctors will sit down with you in a private room to discuss the reason for your visit and perform a thorough evaluation. This will include a complete spinal analysis, orthopedic examination, range of motion assessment, weight balance analysis, functional movement screening, and x-rays (if necessary). You will also discuss your movement and wellness goals. This process allows your doctor to obtain the full picture of your current condition, as well as your aspirations for optimal health and wellness. This visit will take between 30-45 minutes.
At Lifestyle Chiropractic we have onsite x-rays for your convenience.
Scheduling a Follow-Up
After your initial evaluation is complete, the doctor will ask the front desk to assist you in scheduling a follow-up appointment (typically 1-3 days later). This gap between your initial visit and follow-up allows the doctor time to review the findings from the evaluation, consult with our team of providers, and prepare a personalized treatment plan to address your concerns and goals. This second visit will take between 30-60 minutes. It will include a review of the evaluation findings, your proposed treatment plan, and first treatment. At the end of this appointment, our staff will be able to assist with scheduling out all future appointments.
Insurance and Payment
You can expect the cost of your entire first visit, including your initial evaluation and any necessary x-rays, to total between $210-$462 (Non-Insurance Rates). However most medical insurances cover chiropractic care including the initial evaluation and x-rays. This can dramatically reduce the cost of your first visit depending upon your insurance policy. We accept many insurance providers: Aetna, AM Better Coordinated Care, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Cigna / ASH, First Choice, Kaiser HMO and PPO, Medicare, Premera, Regence, United and Personal Injury.

At Lifestyle Chiropractic our initial evaluation starts at $210.00, however this is often covered by medical insurance.
