Your First Visit
Doing anything for the first time can be a little uncomfortable, especially if you don’t know what to expect. Visiting a Chiropractor is no different. To help you put your mind at ease we’ve provided some information about what you can expect when coming in as a New Patient at Lifestyle Chiropractic.
Checking in
When you arrive, you’ll check in at the front desk.
If you’ve already completed your intake paperwork online, you’re all set.
If not, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete it in the clinic using one of our iPads.
You’ll be asked for:
Contact information
Medical history
Reason for your visit
Current symptoms and goals
Insurance information
If you need assistance due to injury or limitations, our staff is happy to help.
We’ll also review the estimated cost of your visit ahead of time, including what your insurance is expected to cover.
Seeing the Doctor
You’ll meet one-on-one with one of our chiropractic doctors in a private room.
Your evaluation may include:
Spinal analysis
Orthopedic examination
Range of motion testing
Balance and movement assessment
X-rays (if necessary)
You’ll also discuss your movement, health, and wellness goals.
This visit typically takes 30–45 minutes.
For your convenience, on-site X-rays are available.
Scheduling a Follow-Up
After your evaluation, our front desk will help you schedule a follow-up visit, usually 1–3 days later.
The follow-up visit typically takes 30–60 minutes and includes:
Review of findings
Discussion of your treatment plan
Your first treatment
Our staff will also help schedule any future visits you may need.
Insurance and Payment
The cost of your first visit (evaluation + X-rays if needed) typically ranges from: $210–$462 (non-insurance rates)
However, most medical insurance plans cover chiropractic care, which may significantly reduce your out-of-pocket cost.
